Recap: Montgomery vs. Tampa Bay

Montgomery, AL (SportsNetwork.com) - Jeff Malm hit a two-run homer and Taylor Motter added a solo shot as the Montgomery Biscuits edged the Tampa Bay Rays, 6-5, in an exhibition game.

Joey Rickard, Riccio Torrez and Richie Shaffer added one RBI apiece for the Biscuits, Tampa Bay's Double-A affiliate.

Wil Myers, Justin O'Conner and Evan Longoria drove in one run apiece for the Rays, who saw starter Chris Archer scatter three hits and fan six over four scoreless innings.

Tampa Bay opens the season at home against Toronto on Monday.
