Miami, FL (SportsNetwork.com) - The Miami Marlins recalled pitcher Sam Dyson from Triple-A New Orleans prior to Sunday's game against the Pirates.

Dyson was summoned to fill the roster spot for pitcher Nathan Eovaldi, who was placed on the paternity list.

Eovaldi is 4-2 with a 3.71 ERA in 14 starts this season. The right-hander started Friday against the Pirates and allowed six runs on 10 hits over 4 2/3 innings.
