Miami, FL (Sports Network) - The Miami Marlins signed outfielder Juan Pierre, the team announced on Monday.

Pierre spent the entire 2012 campaign with the Philadelphia Philles. Over 130 games with the Phillies, Pierre batted .307 with 37 stolen bases and 59 runs scored.

The 13-year veteran has appeared in 1,881 career games with the Colorado Rockies, the then-Florida Marlins, the Chicago Cubs, the Los Angeles Dodgers and the Chicago White Sox before joining Philadelphia last season.

He has posted a .297 career batting average with 1,039 runs, 92 triples and 591 stolen bases.
