Washington, DC (Sports Network) - The Washington Nationals have agreed to terms on minor league contracts with invites to spring training with pitcher Jeremy Accardo and catcher Chris Snyder.

Accardo spent the majority of the 2012 campaign with Cleveland, but was released in August before signing with Oakland as a free agent.

In 27 combined games, the 31-year-old right-hander did not register a decision while posting a 4.82 earned run average with 29 strikeouts over 37 1/3 innings.

Snyder, 31, appeared in 76 games with Houston last season and batted .176 with seven home runs and 24 RBI.

The nine-year veteran is a career .225 hitter with 77 homers and 297 RBI over 706 games with Arizona, Pittsburgh and Houston.
