Atlanta, GA (SportsNetwork.com) - The San Diego Padres recalled pitcher Jesse Hahn from Triple-A El Paso to start Friday's game against the Atlanta Braves.

Hahn made his MLB debut on June 3 against the Pirates, giving up four runs in 3 2/3 innings.

The 24-year-old righty is 5-2 with a 2.21 ERA in seven starts for the Padres this season.

The Padres optioned infielder Jace Peterson to El Paso after Thursday's game against the Chicago Cubs to open a roster spot for Hahn.
