Arlington, TX (SportsNetwork.com) - The Texas Rangers recalled infielder Luis Sardinas from Double-A Frisco and purchased the contract of infielder Rougned Odor from Frisco among a slew of roster moves prior to Thursday's game against the Colorado Rockies.

Sardinas made his major league debut on April 20 and went 1-for-3 with a run scored over three games with the Rangers, while the 20-year-old Odor has yet to make his first appearance in the majors.

Odor has hit safely in each of his last nine games with Frisco and batted .279 with six home runs and 17 RBI over 32 games as the primary second baseman for the RoughRiders.

Also Thursday, the Rangers placed infielder Donnie Murphy on the 15-day disabled list, designated infielder Josh Wilson and pitcher Scott Baker for assignment and purchased the contract of pitcher Justin Germano from Triple-A Round Rock.

Murphy left Wednesday's matchup with the Rockies after six innings due to a neck injury the infielder suffered when he tripped at first base trying to beat out a groundball.

The 31-year-old veteran batted .211 with one homer and seven RBI over 26 games this season.

Wilson hit .224 with eight RBI in 24 games for Texas, while Baker had his contract purchased from Round Rock prior to Wednesday's game and finished the loss in relief in his Rangers debut.

Germano, 31, went 1-3 with a 3.41 earned run average over six starts at Round Rock.
