St. Petersburg, FL (Sports Network) - The Tampa Bay Rays have agreed to minor- league contracts with outfielder Shelley Duncan and pitchers Jamey Wright, Juan Carlos Oviedo and Juan Sandoval, with each receiving an invitation to spring training.

Duncan spent the 2012 campaign with Cleveland and batted .203 with 11 home runs and 31 RBI in 81 games. Over six seasons with the Yankees and Indians, the 33-year-old is a career .229 hitter with 41 homers and 138 RBI in 310 games.

Wright, 38, appeared in 66 games with the Los Angeles Dodgers last season, compiling a 5-3 record with a 3.72 earned run average. The 38-year-old right- hander owns a 4.89 ERA over 592 career games, including 246 starts, over 17 seasons in the majors.

Oviedo, formerly known as Leo Nunez, recorded 92 saves from 2009-11 as the Marlins closer, but did not pitch in the majors in 2012 before undergoing Tommy John surgery in September of last season. His contract with the Rays includes a club option for 2014.

Sandoval, 32, has never pitched in the majors. He split the 2012 season with Mexico and Oaxaca in the Mexican League, posting a 7-3 record with a 2.97 ERA in 67 relief appearances.
