Timothy Peters returns to Bristol in hopes of another perfect truck. One year ago, Peters led all 204 laps en route to a victory here. He became the first driver to lead every lap in a truck event at this track since Ron Hornaday Jr. did it in 1997.

Peters, who drives the No. 17 Toyota for Red Horse Racing, is currently seventh in the point standings. His team is taking the same truck to Bristol that he drove to victory in the July 13 race at Iowa Speedway.

"It's cool coming back to a place where we led every lap," Peters said. "Last year, I came in the same truck that I won with at Iowa, and we're able to do the same thing again this year. Hopefully, that means the stars will align for us, and we can bring our Parts Plus Toyota Tundra back into victory lane."

Matt Crafton comes to Bristol with a comfortable 51-point lead over rookie Jeb Burton. James Buescher, the defending series champion, is only one point behind Burton after winning his first race of the season at Michigan. Ty Dillon is fourth in the standings (-62), followed by Miguel Paludo (-73) and Brendan Gaughan (-74). Peters trails Crafton by 82 markers.

Kyle Busch and Brad Keselowski are those Sprint Cup regulars entered in this race. Both drivers also are scheduled to compete in the Nationwide event in addition to their Sprint Cup duties. Busch won three consecutive truck races at Bristol from 2008-10.

Ben Kennedy, who is the great-grandson of NASCAR founder Bill France Sr., will make his NASCAR national series debut in the truck race at Bristol. Kennedy's mother, Lesa France Kennedy, is the president of International Speedway Corp. He is a two-time race winner in the NASCAR K&N Pro Series East this season and the winner of the first NASCAR-sanctioned oval race in Europe last year, a NASCAR Whelen Euro Series event in Tours, France.

"I'm really looking forward to the race at Bristol," said Kennedy, who is driving the No. 96 Chevrolet for Ben Kennedy Racing/Turner Scott Motorsports. "I was able to test at Bristol with crew chief Chris Carrier a couple of weeks ago, and it went really well."

Kennedy has competed in two K&N Pro Series events at Bristol, finishing 10th in 2012 and sixth earlier this year.

After Bristol, Kennedy is scheduled to compete in the upcoming truck races at Iowa, Chicagoland and Homestead-Miami speedways.

Thirty-eight teams are on the preliminary entry list for the UNOH 200.

Series: NASCAR Camping World. Date: Wednesday, Aug. 21. Race: UNOH 200. Site: Bristol Motor Speedway. Track: 0.533-mile oval. Start time: 8 p.m. ET. Laps: 200. Miles: 106.6. 2012 Winner: Timothy Peters. Television: FOX Sports 1. Radio: Motor Racing Network (MRN)/SIRIUS NASCAR Radio.
