Brooklyn, NY (SportsNetwork.com) - The Brooklyn Nets have traded Tyshawn Taylor and cash considerations to the New Orleans Pelicans.

The Nets acquired the draft rights to Bosnian forward Edin Bavcic for the second-year guard.

Taylor has averaged 2.9 points and 0.9 assists in 61 career games with the Nets.

Bavcic, 29, was selected by Toronto in the second round (56th overall) of the 2006 NBA Draft. He has been playing professionally in Europe and has yet to sign with an NBA team.
