Cleveland, OH (Sports Network) - Cleveland Cavaliers guard Kyrie Irving suffered a left shoulder contusion in Sunday's 100-96 loss against the Toronto Raptors.

The injury occurred when Irving collided with Raptors center Jonas Valanciunas in the third quarter. He shot the resulting free throws with one hand, sinking the first but missing the second. Afterwards, he went to the locker room and did not return to the game. He will be re-evaluated on Monday.

X-rays came back negative, but Irving had trouble getting dressed, as he was unable to move the arm and required assistance.

Irving has missed 14 games this season. He missed 11 games between Nov. 21 and Dec. 8 due to a broken finger and sat out three games between Feb. 26 and March 1 because of a sore right knee.
