George, Lee named NBA's Players of the Week

New York, NY (Sports Network) - The Indiana Pacers' Paul George and Golden State Warriors' David Lee have been named the players of the week for games played between Dec. 10 and Dec. 16.

George averaged 23.3 points, 7.0 rebounds and 4.3 assists in helping the Pacers to a 3-0 record, while Lee tallied 22.8 points and 12.5 rebounds for the Warriors, who were victorious in three of their four contests for the week.

Other nominees for the Eastern and Western Conference players of the week were the Los Angeles Clippers' Blake Griffin, Miami Heat's LeBron James, Minnesota Timberwolves' Nikola Pekovic, New York Knicks' Carmelo Anthony, Oklahoma City Thunders' Kevin Durant, Portland Trail Blazers' LaMarcus Aldridge, San Antonio Spurs' Tony Parker and the Toronto Raptors' Jose Calderon.
