Sacramento, CA (Sports Network) - The Sacramento Kings have traded forward Thomas Robinson to the Houston Rockets in a six-player deal.
Sacramento also sent forwards Francisco Garcia and Tyler Honeycutt to the Rockets and acquired forward Patrick Patterson, guard Toney Douglas, center Cole Aldrich and cash considerations from Houston.
Robinson, the No. 5 pick in the 2012 NBA Draft, has averaged 4.8 points and 4.7 rebounds through 51 games with the Kings.
Garcia, an eight-year veteran, is averaging 5.2 points and 1.7 rebounds through 40 games, while Honeycutt has appeared in just nine games this season, his second in the league.
Patterson has started 38 of the 47 games he played in with the Rockets this season. In his third NBA campaign, the 23-year-old Kentucky product has posted averages of 11.6 points and 4.7 rebounds per contest.
Douglas has played in 49 games backing up starting point guard Jeremy Lin, while Aldrich averaged 1.7 points in 30 games for Houston this season.
"We are excited about the addition of Patrick, Toney and Cole," said Kings president Geoff Petrie. "They will add skill and depth along with the potential for a different look to our roster. We all want to thank Francisco, Thomas and Tyler for their efforts and contributions."
According to the report in the Houston Chronicle, the Rockets also reached an agreement to send forward Marcus Morris to Phoenix for a future second-round pick.
Morris, 23, appeared in 54 games, including 17 starts, with the Rockets this season and averaged 8.6 points and 4.1 rebounds per contest.
The Kansas product will be reunited with twin brother Markieff, who currently plays for the Suns.
All four Houston players involved in the trades were not with the team during Wednesday's 122-119 victory over the Oklahoma City Thunder.
