Minneapolis, MN (Sports Network) - Oklahoma City Thunder key reserve Kevin Martin is reportedly leaving the team after just one season with the club.

According to multiple sources, Martin will sign a four-year deal worth as much as $30 million with the Minnesota Timberwolves when the free agency moratorium is lifted on July 10.

The move comes just hours after Minnesota brought back free agent forward Chase Budinger on the strength of a three-year, $16 million contract.

Martin will be reunited with head coach Rick Adelman, whom he played for during his time with the Sacramento Kings and Houston Rockets, and will fill a much needed void in Minnesota's offense.

The Wolves had the worst 3-point shooting percentage in the league last year, and Martin is coming off a season in which he shot a career-best 42.6 percent from beyond the arc.

Martin spent the 2012-13 campaign coming off the bench for the Thunder after being acquired in a mega-deal that sent James Harden to the Rockets. He had been looking to get back into a starter's role and he'll get that in Minnesota, which played undersized guards J.J. Barea and Luke Ridnour in the shooting guard position most of last season.

The 6-foot-7 eight-year veteran contributed 14.0 points per game last season, but has averaged 17.8 points over the course of his career.
