New York, NY (SportsNetwork.com) - The New York Knicks signed forward Earl Clark and guard Shannon Brown to 10-day contracts.
Clark, 26, averaged 5.2 points in 45 games for the Cavaliers this season before getting shipped to Philadelphia in a deadline deal that sent Spencer Hawes to Cleveland. Clark was waived before playing a game with the Sixers.
Brown, in his eighth NBA season out of Michigan State, appeared in just 10 games with the Spurs in February before getting released last week. Brown is coming off consecutive seasons averaging double digits with Phoenix, but went without a team for the early portion of this season after getting moved to Washington and subsequently released prior to the start of the campaign.
The Knicks waived forward Metta World Peace and guard Beno Udrih on Monday.
