Uniondale, NY (Sports Network) - Steve Novak drained the go-ahead three- pointer with just over a minute remaining in overtime and the New York Knicks topped the intra-city rival Brooklyn Nets, 97-95, at Nassau Coliseum in the final preseason tuneup for both teams.

Trailing 93-91, Novak, who finished with six points in a 16 1/2-minute run off the bench, received a kick-out pass at the top of the key and buried the long distance shot, putting the Knicks ahead, 94-93.
