Boston, MA (Sports Network) - Dorell Wright scored 20 points as the Philadelphia 76ers continued their strong preseason with an 88-79 victory over the rival Boston Celtics at TD Garden.

Fellow reserves Nick Young and Spencer Hawes tallied 15 and 12 points, respectively, to help the Sixers record their fourth straight win and improve to 5-1 thus far on the preseason.

Wright netted 12 points to key a big second quarter for Philadelphia, which outscored Boston by a 30-19 margin in the period to built a 51-41 halftime advantage.

The Celtics would counter with a 12-2 run to begin the third quarter, but the 76ers answered with a 7-0 spurt capped by Jrue Holiday's three-point play to take a 60-53 lead with four minutes left in the stanza.

Boston pulled within 68-66 on two Jeff Green free throws with 10:16 remaining, but Philadelphia scored 16 of the next 18 points to pull away.

Green finished with 12 points and 10 rebounds for Boston, now 2-4 in preseason play, while Rajon Rondo had 12 points and 10 assists in a losing cause.
