New York, NY (Sports Network) - Bradley Beal of the Washington Wizards and Damian Lillard of the Portland Trail Blazers were named the NBA's Eastern and Western Conference Rookies of the Month, respectively, for the second straight time.

In January, Beal led all rookies in the East with 15.1 points per game, while Lillard led all first-year players with 17.7 points and 6.8 assists per game.

Lillard, who also won this award for games played in October and November, had a 37-point outburst against the Warriors on Jan. 11. Beal's best game came in a 26-point, six-assist effort versus the Kings on Jan. 16.

Other nominees for the Eastern and Western Conference Rookies of the Month were Cleveland's Dion Waiters and Tyler Zeller, Detroit's Andre Drummond and New Orleans' Anthony Davis.
