Recap: Cleveland vs. Portland

Cleveland, OH (Sports Network) - Nicolas Batum's go-ahead 3-pointer with 0.2 seconds left in double overtime lifted the Portland Trail Blazers to a 118-117 win over the Cleveland Cavaliers.

Portland trailed, 117-115, with 2.5 left and following a timeout, Damian Lillard passed to Batum along the right corner and he turned, fired, and nailed the triple in front of the Cleveland bench.

The Cavs didn't get a shot off before time expired.

"It's a tough one," Cavaliers coach Byron Scott said. "I thought our guys played hard. I didn't think we played very smart."

Lillard tallied 24 points and Batum added 22 for Portland, which snapped its four-game losing streak.

"It was much needed, that's an understatement," Blazers head coach Terry Stotts said of the victory.

Anderson Varejao had 19 points and 17 rebounds for Cleveland, which has dropped 11 of its last 13 contests.

The Cavs' Dion Waiters, who finished with 12 points and seven assists, left the game in the second overtime period with an ankle injury.

Jeremy Pargo's triple knotted the game at 89-89 with 1:27 remaining in regulation. Tristan Thompson's layup gave the Cavs a 91-89 edge with 53.9 ticks to go before LaMarcus Aldridge's layup tied the contest again at 91-91 with 36.8 remaining.

Lillard's runner with 0.7 left didn't drop and sent the contest into the first extra session.

Aldridge's dunk with 25.9 to play in the first overtime gave the Blazers a 103-101 margin, but Alonzo Gee's running bank shot knotted the contest at 103-103 with 6.7 to play.

Lillard's triple with 1.9 left was off the mark.

Cleveland led, 28-21, after a quarter of play and 48-47 at the break.

The Cavs took a 74-70 edge into the fourth.
