Recap: Toronto vs. Indiana

Toronto, ON (Sports Network) - Paul George and David West both turned in double-doubles to lead the Indiana Pacers to a 93-81 win over the Toronto Raptors on Friday.

George finished with 22 points and 10 rebounds while West added 15 points and 11 boards for the Pacers, winners in six of their last seven.

Roy Hibbert scored 18 points in his first game since returning from a one-game suspension for his role in a fracas with Golden State on Tuesday.

"I'm very proud of our guys. After a tough loss last night we were able to get it done tonight. Our guys made plays when they had to," Pacers coach Frank Vogel said.

Rudy Gay, who was battling lower back discomfort all game, poured in 21 points, while Alan Anderson and John Lucas III added 14 and 10 points, respectively, for the Raptors, who have dropped three in a row.

"It was back spasms, that's all it is. I decided to play through it, now is not the time to sit out," Gay said.

Toronto raced out to an early 11-6 lead, but went ice cold over the final five minutes of the first quarter, going just 1-for-8 from the field over that stretch. Indiana made the most of the opportunity, closing the quarter on an 11-2 run to go into the second frame with a 17-13 edge.

"It was just a gritty game, a grind it out game for both teams. It was hard to take good shots, but they made more than us," Gay said. "We need to be more aggressive and take advantage of what they give us."

The Pacers pushed their spread to seven points, 25-18, with just over five minutes gone in the second, but the Raptors countered with a 10-5 surge to pull within two points with three minutes remaining. Indiana, though, outscored Toronto 9-6 to take a 39-34 lead into the break.

Indiana's lead swelled to double-digits following a pair of George free throws with just more than five minutes to go in the third, but the Raptors quickly cut the lead to 53-47 with 4 1/2 minutes left. The Pacers closed the frame on an 11-4 swing after going 5-for-6 from the field to take 64-51 lead into the final stage.

The lead quickly grew to 18 points, 69-51 in the early parts of the fourth, but the Raptors were able to cut it to 83-72 with just over three minutes to go.

An uncontested reverse slam from George highlighted a 6-0 flurry that pushed the Pacers' lead back to 17 points with 1:51 remaining. Toronto used a 7-0 burst of its own to make it a 10-point game with one minute left.
