Recap: Miami vs. New Orleans

Miami, FL (Sports Network) - Dwyane Wade had 26 points on 9-of-12 shooting, LeBron James scored 24 and the Miami Heat got back on track with a 106-90 victory over the New Orleans Hornets.

James added seven assists and five rebounds for Miami, which snapped a two- game losing streak. Chris Bosh finished with 13 points, six boards and three blocks, while Ray Allen and Shane Battier supplied 11 points apiece for the Heat.

"We didn't do everything right but the commitment on the defensive end was better than the last two games," said Heat coach Erik Spoelstra.

Ryan Anderson scored 24 points to pace the Western Conference-worst Hornets, who have lost three straight. Robin Lopez contributed 20 points and eight rebounds in defeat.

Anderson and Lopez each had 10 points in a first quarter that ended with the Hornets up 32-31. The duo, however, combined for only two points in the second frame as the Heat took control.

Down six at one point, James was fouled on a dunk and his free throw extended Miami's lead to 49-39. The advantage grew to 64-47 at halftime.

"They just had a run and we didn't respond to it," Anderson admitted.

The Heat led by double figures for just about the entire third quarter, but a three-point play by Lopez trimmed the Hornets' deficit to 95-87 with 4:40 remaining.

Miami responded by scoring the next 11 points, with Battier draining a pair of 3-pointers during the game-sealing surge.
