Recap: Dallas vs. Philadelphia

Dallas, TX (Sports Network) - O.J. Mayo scored 26 points and handed out eight assists to lead the Dallas Mavericks over the Philadelphia 76ers, 107-100, at American Airlines Center.

Both teams came in sporting three-game losing streaks, and the Mavs stopped theirs by shooting 54 percent from the field and 25-of-29 from the foul line.

Chris Kaman added 20 points and seven rebounds, while Shawn Marion went for 14 and nine for Dallas, which saw point guard Derek Fisher leave early with a strained right knee.

"There were some lapses here and there, but overall we did well and got the 'W' and that's the most important thing," Kaman said.

Dorell Wright shot 7-of-13 from behind the arc to pace the Sixers with 25 points, while Spencer Hawes and Evan Turner chipped in 18 and 17 points, respectively, in another setback.

Kaman capped a 10-2 run with a pair of buckets to give Dallas a 94-82 lead with 4:16 remaining. It was still a 12-point game before Wright gave the Sixers life with consecutive 3-pointers to pull within two possessions, 96-90.

But Mayo answered with a layup, then went coast-to-coast for another deuce as he beat Hawes to the rim.

"We just couldn't get the ball stopped and keep it out of the paint at the end of the game," Sixers head coach Doug Collins said. "Mayo got in there two or three times and we just couldn't get a stop."

The closest the visitors got in the final two minutes was five.

Philly's Thaddeus Young opened the game's scoring with a jumper, but the Mavs scored the next 11 points and took a 28-23 lead into the second quarter.

Darren Collison's 3-pointer and two free throws in the final minute of the half gave Dallas a 57-52 lead at the break. Mayo did the same in the closing seconds of the third for a 76-74 advantage.
