Recap: Orlando vs. San Antonio

Orlando, FL (Sports Network) - Manu Ginobili drained six 3-pointers en route to a game-high 20 points as the San Antonio Spurs thumped the Orlando Magic, 110-89, on Wednesday at Amway Center.

Ginobili added five assists, Gary Neal finished with 19 points and Tim Duncan contributed 15 points and five blocks for the Spurs, who have won five straight and improved to 9-1 on the road this season. Tony Parker donated 14 points and eight assists, while DeJuan Blair gave 11 points and six boards in the victory.

"Our offense has been clicking," Parker said. "We've been sharing the ball well."

Arron Afflalo netted a team-high 16 points and grabbed five boards, while Jameer Nelson had 14 points for the Magic, who have lost four of their last six. Glen Davis donated 12 points in the setback.

Orlando had the hot hand early on, hitting seven of its first 11 shots en route to a 14-10 lead with 5:33 on the first-quarter clock.

But the Spurs responded with 13 straight points to take a 23-14 lead with 2:37 left. Ginobili drained a pair of treys during the run, which finally came to an end when Gustavo Ayon put home a layup.

Ginobili buried two more 3-balls over the final minute-plus of the quarter and finished the session a perfect 4-for-4 from beyond the arc for 12 points as the Spurs held a 29-18 advantage after 12 minutes.

San Antonio maintained its lead for the duration of the second quarter. A running bank shot by DeQuan Jones with 6:48 to play before the half cut the Spurs' lead to five, but the visitors scored the next five points to build the advantage back to double digits.

A deep deuce by E'Twuan Moore late in the frame made it a nine-point game, but Parker put in a reverse layup and Duncan buried a trey at the horn to put the Spurs up 55-41 at halftime.

A jumper by Davis early in the third quarter made it an eight-point game, but San Antonio was in complete control over the remainder of the game, leading by as many as 25 en route to the easy victory.

"They're a great team. They've been great for years," Nelson said of the Spurs.
