Recap: Milwaukee vs. Washington

Milwaukee, WI (Sports Network) - In his second game back from a wrist injury, Bradley Beal posted a career-high with 28 points and the Washington Wizards notched their first four-game winning streak of the season with a 102-90 victory over the Milwaukee Bucks on Monday.

Beal got plenty of help, however, as John Wall, Emeka Okafor and Nene each contributed double-doubles to the Wizards' fourth straight win over a playoff caliber team.

Wall had 14 points to go with 10 assists and Okafor tallied 12 points and 10 rebounds. Nene followed Beal's scoring effort with 21 points in addition to recording 13 rebounds and six assists.

The Bucks, now losers of four in a row and six of their last seven, had trouble shooting the basketball, converting just 37.9 percent of their attempts.

"We had a bunch of good looks and we couldn't make them," Bucks head coach Jim Boylan said. "Our defense was terrible, and our inability to make our open shots gave them a comfort and they took advantage of it."

Monta Ellis finished with 24 points, eight assists, seven rebounds and six steals in the setback.

After falling behind by as many as 10 in the first, the Wizards took the lead late in the second and never gave it back.

Beal broke the 44-44 tie in second with a triple and then followed with a layup soon after to push the Wizards' lead to 49-45. He scored 16 of his points in the first half alone.

"My teammates did a great job finding me," Beal said. "I was just so happy to be open tonight."

Washington led by as many as 10 in the third before the Bucks reduced their deficit to 70-68 late in the quarter.

Ellis hit a pair of jumpers around a Mike Dunleavy triple during an 8-0 Milwaukee run, but Wall knocked down a fadeway and added two free throws before quarter's end to help Washington keep a 74-71 lead heading into the fourth.

Beal hit his fourth triple of the contest to begin the final period and the Wizards' advantage expanded to nine following scores from Kevin Seraphin and Trevor Ariza.

A 6-0 run brought the Bucks as close as they would get at 81-78, but Nene scored five straight points, with his three-point play igniting an 11-2 run to put Milwaukee away for good.
