Recap: Utah vs. Cleveland

Salt Lake City, UT (Sports Network) - Randy Foye netted 20 points and the Utah Jazz downed the Cleveland Cavaliers, 109-98, on Saturday.

Al Jefferson added 14 points and 11 rebounds for Utah, which has won three in a row and five of its last six games.

"We talked about having fresh legs and we wanted to come out and demonstrate that. I thought the guys did a good job of pushing the ball down the floor. The pace for the most part was good. After we got our legs back under us, I thought we did a good job," Utah head coach Tyrone Corbin said.

Dion Waiters netted 23 points to lead the Cavs, who have dropped four of their last five contests.

"I feel like when our guys want to get it going, we just don't," Cavs point guard Kyrie Irving said. "Coming out in that third and fourth quarter, we just got softer."

Former Jazz swingman C.J. Miles poured in 12 points in his return to Salt Lake City.

Utah held a 53-48 edge at the break, but used a 9-0 flurry to take a 67-54 lead with 7:35 remaining in the third quarter. Foye nailed a 3-pointer and Jefferson capped the spurt with a thunderous slam.

The Jazz took an 84-68 advantage into the fourth and led by double digits throughout the final frame.

Utah had a 26-23 edge after a quarter of play.

Game Notes

The Jazz improved to 13-4 at home ... Irving finished with 18 points and nine assists for Cleveland ... Derrick Favors tied a season-high with 19 points to go along with eight boards for the Jazz.
