Recap: Indiana vs. Golden State

Indianapolis, IN (Sports Network) - David West tallied 28 points and Paul George added 21 points and 11 rebounds as the Pacers downed another opponent, defeating the Golden State Warriors, 108-97, to capture their fifth straight win.

George Hill contributed 23 points with six assists and Roy Hibbert finished with 13 points, nine boards and five blocks before getting ejected for the Pacers, who have strung together five victories in a row twice in the month of February.

Danny Granger, who returned to action on Saturday in Detroit after missing the Pacers' first 55 games with a knee injury, made his home debut on Tuesday, but scored just five points on a timid 1-for-7 shooting.

"Every minute that he's out there he's going to get more comfortable," said Indiana coach Frank Vogel regarding Granger. "It's going to take time."

Stephen Curry scored a game-high 38 points, but was responsible for six of the Warriors' 20 turnovers. David Lee totaled 12 points and 12 boards as Golden State saw its three-game winning streak come to an end.

"We just turned the ball over too much and you can't do that on the road if you're trying to win," said Curry. "We try to make that a point of emphasis on this road trip."

The Pacers held just a one-point edge at the half, but George and West helped Indiana pull away around the midway point of the third.

With just over five minutes left in the period, George's triple put the Pacers on top by double-digits before West, who had 16 points by halftime, followed with a pair of buckets to conclude a 13-0 run, staking the hosts to a 78-64 advantage.

Then, in the final seconds of the quarter, George buried another 3-pointer to keep Indiana ahead 85-73 heading into the final period.

Curry's triple early in the fourth had the Warriors within six, but they never came any closer. Granger responded with his only basket of the night, beginning a 15-4 push to put the game out of reach.

Hill got the Pacers going early, going 6-for-6 with three triples in the first and scored 10 points in a row during a stretch before the Pacers went on to take a 31-25 lead into the second.

The Warriors took a six-point lead following a 13-1 run to begin the period, but turnovers quickly caught up with them.

They committed 11 in the first half and had four giveaways over a 3 1/2 minute stretch in the second, which led to an 18-3 surge for Indiana. West scored 10 on the run for the Pacers and Hill's score off a Lee turnover put the hosts ahead 50-41.

Curry, however, scored eight straight late in the stanza to keep Golden State within 54-53 at the break.
