Recap: Memphis vs. Boston

Memphis, TN (Sports Network) - Jerryd Bayless poured in a game-high 30 points as the Memphis Grizzlies held off a late rally to down the Boston Celtics, 110-106, on Saturday.

Darrell Arthur finished with 18 points and Zach Randolph poured in 15 with 11 rebounds for the Grizzlies, who have won 10 straight at FedEx Forum.

Prior to the game, Memphis announced center Marc Gasol will be out indefinitely after aggravating an abdominal tear in Friday's loss to New Orleans. Gasol originally suffered the injury in a March 6 win over the Portland Trail Blazers, but was able to play through the injury.

Paul Pierce scored 26 points and Jordan Crawford had 21 for the Celtics, who have dropped four straight.

Memphis led 98-77 with 7:16 left, but opened up a 25-6 run to make it 104-102 with 18.9 seconds to go. Crawford poured in 10 points on the run and Terrence Williams netted seven of his nine points on the swing. The Celtics went 8- for-12 from the field and 3-of-4 from 3-point range in the flurry.

A pair of Randolph free throws made it a four-point game with 12.1 ticks showing before Jason Terry was fouled while attempting a 3-pointer with 8.3 seconds to go.

Terry, though, missed the second attempt before knocking down the third to make it 108-106.

Boston immediately fouled Mike Conley, who buried a pair from the charity stripe, but Jeff Green lost the ball out of bounds in the closing seconds to seal the win for Memphis.

"I think guys just didn't want to quit," Crawford said. "It was an opportunity for guys to play and try to make a run to win the game. Everybody stepped up when other guys were down."

Boston led 31-29 after the first quarter, but was outscored 32-20 in the second to go into the break trailing 61-51. The Grizzlies led by as many as 17 in the third and took an 85-73 lead into the final frame.

"I thought that (Bayless) gave us a huge lift," Memphis coach Lionel Hollins said. "I mean, it was early on, and I didn't know how we were going to score. (Bayless) came in and started making shots and got on a roll and carried us in the first half."
