Recap: Minnesota vs. Chicago

Minneapolis, MN (Sports Network) - Nate Robinson had 22 points and 10 assists in the Chicago Bulls' 104-97 win over the Minnesota Timberwolves.

Jimmy Butler tallied 20 points and nine rebounds for Chicago, which had dropped five of its last six games on the road. The Bulls won their seventh straight meeting against the Wolves.

"Once we got going a bit I thought that was the whole key to the game," Bulls head coach Tom Thibodeau said.

Carlos Boozer registered 19 points and 12 boards, while Luol Deng added 17 points, seven rebounds and four assists in the victory.

Derrick Williams netted a game-high 28 points to lead the Wolves, who are 8-29 in their last 37 games.

"We just didn't play hard enough at the start of the game. They got control of it. The second half, we picked it up, but it was too late. We shot decently, but they killed us on the boards," Minnesota head coach Rick Adelman said.

Minnesota trailed by as many as 16 early in the third, but Dante Cunningham's jumper with 6:21 remaining trimmed the deficit to 90-85, but Robinson hit a big 3-pointer at the other end to push the edge back to eight.

Butler then hit two foul shots before hitting a technical free throw for a 96-85 cushion and the Wolves didn't threaten again.

Chicago led 23-16 after a quarter of play and headed into the break with a 56-43 margin.

Game Notes
