Recap: Memphis vs. Charlotte

Memphis, TN (Sports Network) - Mike Conley led the way with 20 points and seven assists as the Memphis Grizzlies coasted to a 94-75 win over the Charlotte Bobcats at the FedExForum.

Conley went 8-of-13 from the floor for Memphis, which extended its home winning streak to 13 games. The Grizzlies have not lost at FedExForum since Feb. 5 and are 31-8 in their own arena on the season.

"I'm very comfortable being one of the guys with the ball at the end of the game," said Conley. "I have confidence that I'll make the right pass, make the right play or shoot the right shot."

Zach Randolph added a double-double with 11 points and 13 rebounds, while Jon Leuer chipped in 11 points off the bench in the victory.

Kemba Walker paced the Bobcats with 19 points on 9-of-17 shooting from the field. The other four starters for Charlotte combined to make only 13-of-41 of their field goal tries. Bismack Biyombo led the visitors with 12 rebounds to mark his second-straight game with 10 boards or more.

Mike Dunlap's team has now lost 13 road games in a row.

"We just have to do a better job on the back stretch," said Dunlap. "That's kind of been the issue."

Both sides struggled from beyond the arc, as the two teams combined to make 5- of-27 shots from 3-point range. Memphis coasted by owning a 50-34 edge in points in the paint.

The Grizzlies used a balanced attack in the opening frame as six different players got on the scoreboard en route to a 28-19 lead. Gasol had eight points in the first 12 minutes of action and Gerald Henderson got off to a solid start for Charlotte, hitting on 4-of-8 from the floor to net nine points.

Memphis scored seven unanswered points to end the first quarter, but Charlotte closed the gap to two points, at 30-28, just under four minutes into the second on a jumper by Jannero Pargo. The Grizzlies then went on a 17-9 run to take back control and went into the intermission on top, 49-40.

The Bobcats refused to go away as they rallied to tie the score at 53 when Walker drained a 19-foot jumper 5:24 remaining in the third quarter. Conley netted the next seven points for the Grizzlies and Quincy Pondexter sent them into the fourth quarter with a 63-57 lead as he connected on a 3-pointer with 30 seconds left.

After Pargo sank a triple to make it a three-point affair early in the fourth, Memphis produced a 15-0 run, which featured seven points from Leuer, to pull away for good.

Game Notes

Pargo scored 10 points in 14 minutes off the bench ... Austin Daye tallied 10 points and seven rebounds to reach double-figures for the first time since Feb. 27 ... Memphis scored 19 fast break points ... Henderson finished with 13 points after hitting on 2-of-8 field goal attempts after the opening quarter ...
