Recap: Philadelphia vs. Charlotte

Philadelphia, PA (Sports Network) - Jrue Holiday scored 11 of his 14 points in the fourth quarter, lifting the Philadelphia 76ers to a 100-92 victory over the Charlotte Bobcats on Saturday.

Holiday also dished out nine assists for the Sixers, who have won three in a row and sit 5 1/2 games behind the Bucks for the eighth and final playoff spot in the Eastern Conference.

Evan Turner added 22 points and seven rebounds for Philadelphia, which has won six straight against Charlotte. Spencer Hawes had 19 points, Thaddeus Young tallied 15 points and 10 boards and Damien Wilkins donated 15 points.

Former Sixers superstar Allen Iverson was in the house, as the organization honored him with a commemorative bobblehead doll giveaway.

Michael Kidd-Gilchrist ended with 21 points and nine boards for the Bobcats, who have lost 10 straight on the road to fall to 6-31 away from home this season. Gerald Henderson and Kemba Walker had 19 and 16 points, respectively.

"Holiday made a couple of big plays, and obviously Kemba was good at the end, but we just couldn't stop them from scoring," Henderson said.

Holding an 86-83 lead with 6:07 to play, Holiday scored nine straight points for Philadelphia to create some distance. Holiday's jumper with 1:02 left gave the home team a 95-90 margin.

"When it comes down to the crucial moments, I think my team has a lot of faith in me," Holiday said. "My teammates and coaches encouraged me to make plays to close out the game."

Turner went 3-of-4 from the line in the final 30 seconds to secure the victory.

Holding a 21-17 lead with 3:29 left in the first quarter, the Bobcats put together a 9-0 run. Kidd-Gilchrist tallied seven points during the spurt, including a slam with 2:07 remaining to make it 30-17.

But the Sixers bridged the first and second frames with a 16-2 burst to tie the game. Royal Ivey capped the surge with a 3-pointer, making it 33-33 with 7:58 left until half.

Philadelphia was down by three, 38-35, with 6:40 remaining, but used a 6-0 spurt to take the lead. Young scored the final four points of the flurry to give the home team a 41-38 edge.

The Sixers led for the remainder of the half and took a 49-46 lead into the locker room.

Philadelphia held a 73-71 margin following a tight third quarter that featured eight lead changes.
