Recap: Phoenix vs. Denver

Phoenix, AZ (Sports Network) - Michael Beasley, the Suns' prized free agent addition in the offseason, totaled 29 points and 10 rebounds to give Phoenix an 88-72 win over the Denver Nuggets in the final tuneup for the regular season.

Goran Dragic scored 13 points and handed out six assists for the Suns, who open the season next Wednesday at home against Golden State.

Denver, which opens its regular-season slate in Philadelphia on Wednesday, committed 27 turnovers and shot just 37 percent from the field.

Jordan Hamilton netted a team-high 15 points in defeat.
