Recap: LA Lakers vs. Golden State

Fresno, CA (Sports Network) - David Lee poured in a game-high 19 points to go with seven rebounds and the Golden State Warriors routed the Los Angeles Lakers, 110-83, in the preseason opener for both teams on Sunday.

Klay Thompson chipped in 18 points, while first-round selection Harrison Barnes out of the University of North Carolina added 13 points for the Warriors, who were without starters Andrew Bogut (foot) and Stephen Curry (ankle).

Steve Nash made his Laker debut and finished with five points and three assists, while LA's other marquee offseason acquisition, center Dwight Howard, sat out as he recovers from offseason back surgery.

Kobe Bryant and Metta World Peace each tallied 10 points and Pau Gasol netted nine for the Lakers, who lost to Oklahoma City in the Western Conference Semifinals last season.

LA held a 56-49 lead at the break, but Golden State outscored the Lakers 37-10 in the third stanza to jump in front for good as the Warriors cruised to the double-digit victory.
