Recap: Atlanta vs. Dallas

Atlanta, GA (Sports Network) - Mike Scott scored 17 points to pace seven Hawks in double figures, as Atlanta crushed the Dallas Mavericks, 110-94, in preseason action.

Ivan Johnson and Lou Williams each chipped in 13 points, and Devin Harris had 11 with six assists for the victors.

Josh Smith, Damion James and Anthony Morrow each netted 10 points with Smith pulling down a game-high 13 rebounds in the wire-to-wire win.

The Mavericks were led by Jae Crowder's 15 points. On Friday, the club announced star forward Dirk Nowitzki underwent surgery on his right knee and will miss nearly two months of action.

Dallas shot just 37 percent from the field and trailed by as many as 29.
