Recap: Sacramento vs. Phoenix

Sacramento, CA (Sports Network) - DeMarcus Cousins scored 21 points and pulled down nine rebounds to lead the Sacramento Kings over the Phoenix Suns, 102-96, in the preseason opener for both clubs.

Thomas Robinson, the fifth overall pick in this year's draft, chipped in 12 points and eight boards, while Marcus Thornton and Jimmer Fredette added 10 points apiece in the win.

Wesley Johnson and Markieff Morris totaled 18 and 16 points, respectively, to pace the Suns, who had 14 fastbreak points to the Kings' 27.

Goran Dragic, tasked with taking over the point guard reins from the departed Steve Nash, scored nine to points to go with four assists in limited minutes.
