Recap: Phoenix vs. Portland

Phoenix, AZ (Sports Network) - Markieff Morris scored 14 points and added five rebounds as the Phoenix Suns took a 104-93 win over the Portland Trail Blazers in preseason action.

Luis Scola, Wesley Johnson and Shannon Brown each had 12 points for the Suns, who also got 10 points from Michael Beasley.

Damian Lillard scored 15 points and handed out five assists for the Trail Blazers, who shot just 38.6 percent in the game. Nicolas Batum and Meyers Leonard each posted 14 points in the loss.

Phoenix jumped out to a 28-15 lead after the first quarter and sat in front the rest of the game thanks to 51.2 percent shooting, including 10-of-20 from 3-point range.
