Recap: Dallas vs. Phoenix

Dallas, TX (Sports Network) - Jared Dudley poured in a team-high 16 points to lead the Phoenix Suns to a 100-94 preseason win over the Dallas Mavericks on Wednesday.

Goran Dragic added 12 points and six assists and Wesley Johnson chipped in with 11 points and five rebounds off the bench for the Suns, who also got eight points, four assists and three steals from Michael Beasley.

Chris Kaman paced the Mavericks with 16 points and Vince Carter netted 15 points off the bench. O.J. Mayo had 14 points and Elton Brand donated 11 for Dallas, which was swept by the Oklahoma City Thunder in the first round of the Western Conference playoffs last season.

The Mavs led 54-49 at halftime, but the Suns outscored Dallas, 32-20, in the third to build an 81-74 spread entering the fourth. Phoenix kept pace with the Mavs in the final quarter to hold on for the win.
