Recap: Dallas vs. Charlotte

Dallas, TX (Sports Network) - Shawn Marion scored a game-high 24 points and pulled down 12 rebounds to lead the Dallas Mavericks to a 99-82 victory over the Charlotte Bobcats on Friday in the preseason finale for both teams.

O.J. Mayo finished an assist shy of a triple-double, as he poured in 13 points, grabbed 10 boards, and handed out nine assists for the Mavericks, who begin their regular season campaign on Oct. 30 against the Los Angeles Lakers.

Byron Mullens recorded a double-double with 16 points and 19 rebounds, while Gerald Henderson donated 17 points and Ramon Sessions chipped in 16 points for Charlotte, which opens the regular season on Nov. 2 against the Indiana Pacers.

The Mavericks never trailed in the contest and led by as many as 20 points to earn their fourth victory of the preseason.
