Recap: LA Clippers vs. Indiana

Los Angeles, CA (SportsNetwork.com) - Paul George poured in 27 points and David West added 24 points with 12 rebounds as the Indiana Pacers bested the Los Angeles Clippers, 105-100, at Staples Center.

Roy Hibbert netted 19 points, while George Hill scored 11 for Indiana, which handed the Clippers just their second home loss of the season.

Jamal Crawford led six LA players in double-figures with 20 points off the bench and Chris Paul finished with 17 points and 10 assists in the setback.

"Indiana attacked early and we didn't attack," said Los Angeles head coach Doc Rivers. "They (Indiana) came in here with a purpose, they were locked in and we were not. We had plenty of opportunities to win the game."

Los Angeles trailed by 10 when Crawford went on a 10-4 run by himself early in the fourth after he was fouled attempting a three.

Crawford dribbled behind his back, crossing Lance Stephenson over in the process, and was fouled attempting a three. He made the free throws to pull Los Angeles within four, 91-87.

Later, Crawford plucked Hill, dove to the floor for the ball and threw it ahead to Collison, who went in for the uncontested dunk to tie the game, 94-94, with 4:49 to play.

Hill answered with a three-point play at the other end and then went to the line again later in the quarter after a controversial foul was called on Collison. He hit all three and pushed the lead to 100-96 with 3:04 to go.

The deficit remained four when Paul found Jordan for an alley-oop with 1:05 left. Paul had a chance to tie the score but his mid-range jumper rimmed out and Hibbert gathered the rebound with 29.9 ticks to go.

The Pacers came up empty on their possession but Hibbert kept the ball alive and batted the ball out to Hill. Stephenson went to the line and made 1- of-2. His second attempt missed but West pulled down another offensive board and passed it out to Hill, who made both of his free throws to seal it for the visitors.

"This was a tough opponent and a great win for us," said George. "We stuck to our principles. Our defense is clicking but we can still get better offensively."

Indiana led 53-47 at the break and the lead swelled to as many 14 until the Clippers closed to an 84-74 deficit at the end of three. The Pacers led the entire second half except for the few seconds that the game was tied.

Los Angeles trailed 29-22 after one quarter of play.
