Recap: Miami vs. Charlotte

Miami, FL (SportsNetwork.com) - Chris Bosh suddenly became scorching hot and the Miami Heat extended their winning streak to double figures.

Bosh nailed a trio of 3-pointers in a 79-second span late in the fourth to help the Heat rally past the Charlotte Bobcats 99-98 for their 10th straight win on Sunday night.

Miami trailed 87-80 with 3:59 left prior to Bosh's personal onslaught where he netted 13 straight Heat points. His final 3-pointer capped a 13-4 run and gave Miami a 93-91 advantage with 1:20 remaining.

"It kind of just happened," Bosh said. "I was wide open so I figured I would take a step back and in the words of our late teammate Mike Miller, `let it fly.' That was really it."

Kemba Walker then turned the ball over at the other end before Bosh finally missed a triple with 48.9 ticks to go. Mario Chalmers and Walker then traded buckets, but LeBron James nailed all four of his foul shots in the waning seconds to seal the outcome.

Bosh finished with 22 points, while James scored a team-best 26 points for Miami, which has beaten the Bobcats 14 consecutive times.

Walker had 27 points and six assists and Al Jefferson added 16 points and 13 boards for the Bobcats, who have dropped four of their last six tilts.

"Instead of playing possession by possession, we made mistakes. They started going to the basket and we couldn't get them under control," Bobcats head coach Steve Clifford said.

Miami led 24-21 after a quarter of play, but the Bobcats outscored the Heat 27-23 in the second to take a 48-47 edge into the break.

Charlotte closed the third frame on a 13-4 surge and took a 71-60 cushion into the fourth where the Bobcats led by as many as 14 before Bosh helped Miami come roaring back.

Game Notes

Miami outscored Charlotte 38-25 in the fourth quarter ... Dwyane Wade tallied 17 points and four assists for Miami ... The Heat were 8-of-18 (44.4 percent) from beyond the arc.
