Recap: Phoenix vs. Golden State

Phoenix, AZ (SportsNetwork.com) - Goran Dragic scored a career-high 34 points and dished out 10 assists as the Phoenix Suns took a 122-109 win over the Golden State Warriors at US Airways Center.

Dragic finished the game 10-of-13 from the field, including an outstanding 6- for-7 from 3-point range.

"Tonight I was just feeling it. The rim was big for me," said Dragic, who was playing in front of his son for the first time. "I was a little bit hyped. I tried to show him what his daddy can do."

Gerald Green added 25 points and P.J. Tucker totaled 16 points, 15 rebounds and four steals for the Suns, who snapped a brief two-game skid.

Marcus Morris scored 14 points, Channing Frye added 13 and Miles Plumlee had 12 points and seven rebounds in the win.

Stephen Curry scored 28 points and handed out nine assists, but was just 3- for-10 from behind the arc. Harrison Barnes added 23 points and Klay Thompson scored 17 for the Warriors, who have dropped two of their last three games.

"You have to give them credit for shooting so well. They're a good offensive team, they spread you out and make plays. Dragic really got going," said Warriors coach Mark Jackson.

Phoenix opened the game on a 12-4 run. Golden State used an 8-0 run late in the frame to go up 28-27, but an Ish Smith runner with 42.9 seconds left gave the Suns a 29-28 lead.

Golden State went back ahead with just over four minutes played in the second when Barnes pulled up from 20-feet and buried a jumper. A 13-3 run, capped with a Dragic triple, made it 50-41 at the 5:07 mark, and the hosts took a 63-59 lead into the break.

Phoenix went up 78-64 five minutes into the third quarter, but saw its cushion dwindle to just five points, 95-90, at the end of the frame.

The Warriors pulled within two points several times in the fourth quarter, the last coming with 7:55 left, but the Suns slammed the door shut with a 20-9 run.
