The Bulls led 27-15 at the end of the first quarter on the strength of shooting 50 percent (12-for-24) from the floor, while the Bucks made 40 percent (6-for-15) of their field goals in the period.

Chicago expanded its lead to 37-21 with a 10-2 run two minutes into the second frame. The Bucks had no answer and trailed by 19, 48-29, with 3 1/2 minutes left in the first half.

Milwaukee trailed 51-35 to start the third period. After trading scores through the first 4 1/2 minutes of the second half, the Bucks used a 9-4 run to pull within 10 points. Chicago, however, stretched the margin to 82-62 heading into the fourth.

"We started to move the basketball. We started looking for the cutters," said Bucks head coach Larry Drew.

The Bucks, though, did not go away. With 9:19 left they scored 11 straight to pull within eight, the closest they had been since a minute into the second quarter. The teams went back-and-forth over the next three-plus minutes before a 7-2 surge put Chicago back up by 13 with just over two minutes to play.

"They played harder than us for a stretch. But when we needed to score, we got it done," said Gibson.

Milwaukee scored the next four to pull within single-digits with 1 1/2 minutes left, but Butler and Noah each knocked down a pair from the line to help the Bulls seal the deal.
