Recap: Boston vs. Toronto

Boston, MA (SportsNetwork.com) - Rudy Gay and Tyler Hansbrough paced the Toronto Raptors with 17 points apiece in a 97-89 preseason victory over the Boston Celtics.

Gay was 7-for-11 from the field, 2-for-2 from the free throw line and also had two steals and two rebounds. Hansbrough came off the bench to go 5-for-8 from the field and 7-for-8 from the line. He also grabbed nine rebounds.

New Celtic Gerald Wallace came off the bench to lead the team in scoring with 16 points going 6-for-10 and 2-for-5 from 3-point range. Jared Sullinger added 14 points, six rebounds and four assists. Another new Celtic, Kris Humphries, scored 11 points and added four rebounds.

First year Celtic coach Brad Stevens did not start his NBA coaching career as he would have liked despite it being preseason.
