Recap: Miami vs. Atlanta

Miami, FL (SportsNetwork.com) - Chris Bosh scored a game-high 21 points on 7- of-8 shooting from the field to lead the Miami Heat past the Atlanta Hawks, 92-87, in the preseason opener for both clubs.

LeBron James played 21 minutes and totaled nine points, five rebounds and five assists for the two-time reigning champion Heat, who cautiously held out its other star, Dwyane Wade.

Al Horford finished with 10 points and nine rebounds for the Hawks, who got 13 points from Mike Scott and 12 from free agent acquisition Paul Millsap.
