Recap: Washington vs. Brooklyn

Washington, DC (SportsNetwork.com) - Tyshawn Taylor scored 16 points and dished out six assists as the Brooklyn Nets edged the Washington Wizards, 111-106, in overtime on Tuesday.

Mirza Teletovic and Brook Lopez finished with 15 points apiece and Andray Blatche added 14 for the Nets.

Andrei Kirilenko scored 11 points for Brooklyn while fellow new additions Kevin Garnett and Paul Pierce ended with four and three points, respectively.

Kirilenko signed on as free agent and Garnett and Pierce were acquired in a blockbuster trade with the Boston Celtics over the summer.

John Wall scored 16 points to go with five rebounds and eight assists and Nene had a game-high 19 for the Wizards.
