Recap: Washington vs. New York

Baltimore, MD (SportsNetwork.com) - Carmelo Anthony scored 22 points to lead the New York Knicks to a 98-89 win over the Washington Wizards in a preseason game Thursday night.

Tim Hardaway Jr. and Toure Murry both had 14 points off the bench for the Knicks and Andrea Bargnani scored 13.

Anthony, who was raised in Baltimore, went 8-for-17 from the field in the game at Baltimore Arena. The Knicks snapped a two-game losing streak and are 2-2 in the preseason.

Bradley Beal scored 21 points to lead Washington and John Wall had 14. The Wizards were coming off a win over Miami on Tuesday.
