Recap: Miami vs. Brooklyn

Miami, FL (SportsNetwork.com) - LeBron James and Chris Bosh rested in preparation for the season opener as the Brooklyn Nets routed the Miami Heat in the final preseason test from American Airlines Arena.

Alan Anderson and Jason Terry netted 17 and 14 points, respectively, off the bench the Nets, who capped the preseason with a 5-2 record. Both players were 3-for-3 from behind the arc.

Paul Pierce dropped 16 points for the Brooklyn, which opens the regular season in Cleveland on Wednesday.

Udonis Haslem shot 8-for-9 and led the Heat with 16 points. Mario Chalmers and Ray Allen added 12 points apiece. The Heat kick off the 2013-14 campaign on Tuesday when they host Chicago.
