New Orleans, LA (SportsNetwork.com) - Anthony Davis had 26 points and eight rebounds in 31 minutes and the New Orleans Pelicans beat the Houston Rockets 117-98 in a preseason game Tuesday night.

Eric Gordon and Jimmer Fredette added 15 points each for the Pelicans, who shot almost 54 percent in the game, including 13-of-25 on 3-pointers.

Isaiah Canaan and Kostas Papanikolaou scored 13 points each to lead the Rockets, who lost for the first time this preseason.
