New York, NY (Sports Network) - Chris Bosh of the Miami Heat and Dirk Nowitzki of the Dallas Mavericks headlined the 14 reserves announced Thursday for the NBA All-Star Game in New Orleans.

There were plenty of familiar faces added to the midseason classic, with only four first-time players getting voted in by the coaches.

Three of those came in the Eastern Conference, as Washington's John Wall, Atlanta's Paul Millsap and Toronto's DeMar DeRozan will each play in their first All-Star Game.

Bosh, who will make his ninth straight appearance, will be joined in the East's frontcourt by Indiana's Roy Hibbert and Chicago's Joakim Noah, both making their second appearance.

Brooklyn's Joe Johnson, a six-time All-Star with the Hawks, rounds out the East's bench.

There is just one first-time All-Star reserve in the Western Conference, that being Portland guard and reigning Rookie of the Year Damian Lillard, who will be joined by teammate LaMarcus Aldridge.

The West's reserve backcourt includes the injured Chris Paul and fellow All- Star stalwart Tony Parker. James Harden and Dwight Howard of the Rockets made the squad, and Nowitzki, who had a run of 11 straight All-Star appearances end last season, was selected by the coaches.

The replacement for Lakers guard Kobe Bryant, who is not expected to play due to a knee injury suffered over a month ago, was not announced. Bryant, along with Golden State's Stephen Curry, were voted as the West's starting backcourt by the fans.

Oklahoma City's Kevin Durant, the Clippers' Blake Griffin and Minnesota's Kevin Love make up the West's starting frontcourt.

LeBron James, the top overall vote-getter, leads an Eastern Conference starting lineup that includes his Heat teammate Dwyane Wade, Indiana's Paul George, New York's Carmelo Anthony and Cleveland's Kyrie Irving.

The 63nd NBA All-Star Game will be played on Feb. 16 at New Orleans Arena.
