Cleveland, OH ( - Cleveland Cavaliers guard Dion Waiters will miss Wednesday's tilt with the Orlando Magic with a left knee hyperextension.

Waiters underwent an MRI to confirm the injury, which he suffered late in the second quarter of Tuesday's win in Philadelphia after landing awkwardly following a slam dunk. Waiters had played well in 15 minutes, contributing 13 points, four rebounds and three assists before missing the rest of the contest.

Cleveland's explosive sixth man is averaging 14.3 points in his second NBA season.
