Toronto, ON (Sports Network) - Toronto Raptors guard Kyle Lowry is expected to miss the next 1-2 weeks with a bruised cuboid bone in his right foot, the team announced on Thursday.

Lowry sustained the injury in the second quarter of last Tuesday's loss to Oklahoma City when he landed awkwardly on the foot of Thunder center Serge Ibaka. He has already missed the team's last four games.

Lowry, acquired by the Raptors in a trade with Houston this past July, was off to a strong start with his new team. Through Toronto's first three games, the 26-year-old was averaging 23.7 points, 7.3 rebounds, 7.0 assists and 3.7 steals per outing. He had just two points in 17 minutes before leaving last Tuesday's game.

In other injury news, forward/guard Landry Fields underwent ulnar nerve transposition surgery to address compression in his right elbow.

Dr. Andrew Weiland performed the surgery in New York City on Wednesday. No timetable has been established for Fields' return and he will be re-assessed in two weeks.

Fields, who signed a three-year deal with the Raptors in July, has started all five games he has appeared in this season, averaging 2.4 points and 3.2 rebounds per contest.

Toronto also announced that guard/forward Alan Anderson has a partially torn plantar fascia in his left foot. He is estimated to be sidelined for 3-6 weeks as he rehabilitates the injury.

Anderson has averaged 7.3 points, 1.9 rebounds and 1.2 assists through six games this season.
