San Antonio, TX (Sports Network) - The San Antonio Spurs have signed guard James Anderson and recalled guard Cory Joseph from their NBA Development League team in Austin.

Anderson was selected by the Spurs with the 20th overall pick of the 2010 draft and appeared in 77 games for San Antonio from 2010-12. He averaged 3.7 points and 1.3 rebounds with the club.

The Oklahoma State product had been playing for Rio Grande Valley of the NBADL after appearing in six games during the preseason with Atlanta.

Joseph was chosen by San Antonio with the 29th pick of the 2011 draft and has appeared in 30 games for the Spurs, averaging 1.9 points and 1.1 assists. The Texas product played one game for San Antonio earlier this year before being assigned to Austin last week.
